Fees
A transparent fee policy
Fees are agreed freely between the client and the lawyer, in accordance with the rules of the profession. The firm is committed to full transparency on costs from the very first consultation.
Fixed fee per matter
The firm's primary billing method. A fixed fee is agreed at the outset, based on the nature and complexity of the matter. You know the full cost of the engagement before committing — no surprises during the proceedings.
Success fee
In addition to the base fixed fee, a success fee may be agreed. It is calculated on the benefit obtained through the firm's intervention and is strictly governed by professional conduct rules.
Hourly rate
For complex or evolving matters, fees may be calculated on the basis of time spent. The hourly rate is communicated at the outset and a cost estimate is provided.
Retainer
For businesses, local authorities, or clients with recurring needs, a monthly retainer can be agreed to cover advisory work and routine correspondence.
Legal aid
The firm accepts cases under the legal aid scheme (aide juridictionnelle) for clients who meet the eligibility criteria. Do not let financial constraints prevent you from asserting your rights.
Legal expenses insurance
Many home and professional insurance policies include legal expenses cover. The firm can assist you in activating this cover to reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
Instalment payments
Payment in instalments is available, depending on the nature and duration of the matter. The number of payments and the schedule are agreed with the client and set out in the fee agreement. Please raise this at the first consultation if needed.
A fee agreement (convention d'honoraires) is systematically drawn up and signed before any work begins. This document sets out the scope of the engagement, the fee structure, and the billing arrangements.
